Lazy Oaf's latest collection comes with a POW! Since the release of Batman 'Dark Knight Rises' everyone is going crazy for comic book prints and DC comics. So it was a match made in heaven when Lazy Oaf paired together with DC comics to create this summer's coolest collection.

>>Everybody knows that fruit is good for you- so when it mixes with fashion it's just the perfect antidote to these rainy summer days. Fruity fashion has influenced a lot of big names in the fashion world including fresh new  jewellery brand NICKA from Australia. There latest collection features more banana's and pineapples then your eyes can handle! So, here's some inspiration for those who want to feel fruity this summer.

Lazy Oaf are known for there bold statement prints and even they have brought out the fruity flavour in their S/S12 collection. Crop tops and Over-sized tees are all smothered in juicy goodness. I can personally tell you that the watermelon skirt looks just as cute in real life, I brought mine last summer and it is the cutest most statement skirt I have ever brought. Paired with a plain top gives it a bolder feel.

Ina Jang in Jalouse

>>Ina Jang is a photographer that I have only just come across. These images are the first pieces of work that I have seen of hers, and I love every one of them. She doesn't just take photos, she allows use to see what she likes and what she dislikes about them. The Brooklyn- based photographer takes to every image with a pair of scissors, snipping away and playing with a few elements of the photo. She says "I started it because I was struggling to make images at the time"- featured in Time Lightbox. "I was forcing myself to like everything-from the people I worked with to locations where I was shooting, so I started getting rid of elements I didn't like in the picture".

I have fallen in love with Ina's statement images, everything from the colours to the simple little cuts and snips of each picture. This 13-page series is full of pastels, trends, accessories and Ina's trademark cutting edge. Now when I see a pair of scissors I'll be thinking of Ina's masterpieces.

Block Party: Colour blocking is so hot this summer, so be bold and experiment

Pretty Pastels: Think of being in a massive Pick 'n' Mix bag of all things fashion and sweeties! You'll look good enough to eat wearing Pastels this summer!!

Under Neon Lights: I know your probably thinking NEON!!!?? but wear it right and you'll inspire everyone. Don't go for the neon net gloves or leg warmers, that's a massive no no!! Think more of subtle splashes of neon, a clutch bag or neon shoe laces are a good start!!

Pretty Pastels

>>My most recent purchase is the pastel clutch bag, seen as I didn't own a nice clutch bag (I am very disappointed in myself for that) I thought that it was time to buy one. I am absolutely in love with this bag, it finishes every outfit off with a statement POP of colour and you can fit more than just your lippy in!

I paired my clutch with a midnight black maxi skirt and a splash of pastel with a sleeveless shirt. I also used a matching bold pink lipstick. This look will definitely be used a lot in the summer! 

 

VOLT is such an Oaf!!

VOLT magazine is known for its wacky and wild photo shoots, they have recently added to their collection a photo shoot inspired by Lazy Oaf's new SS12 collection. With bright bold prints, hair toggles this shoot is a nineties dream!!!

I recently brought the Skull Crop top. You can see how it looks in an older post on my blog! I jazzed it up a bit by turning up the sleeves to give it more of a shape, I will be wearing this so much in the summer!
