As you probably already know I am a big Topshop fan. So when I read that they are having a competition for the best picture of someone with their new 214 magazine I had to have a go. So here are some of the pictures that my lovely sister Lisa Bailey took for me and I hope I win!! I want to spend that £1000 prize!

I have been meaning to do a little photoshoot of my latest must have buys. The latest buy that I have made has been my amazingly cosy Topshop winter jumpers, I haven't purchased many jumpers for this winter coming so buying these has made my winter wardrobe a lot more exciting. I'm loving the bottle green colours this winter and as I have blonde hair it makes the colour look even warmer. The other jumper that I brought is a black and white small checkered boyfriend jumper, I am a big fan of over-sized jumpers and cardigans so when I saw this I had to have it. Both of these jumpers are perfect matches with jeans, shorts and tights, maxi skirts and bold leggings, I definitely think that thick cosy jumpers are a staple buy when it comes to winter.

Gareth Pugh Paris Fashion Week, A/W 12

When thinking of Gareth Pugh I always think of the unexpected. Pugh's latest catwalk A/W 12 collection was very goth meets futuristic, a well-known style for Gareth to use. But the unexpected surprise in this collection was seeing the all in one bright blue jump suits and dresses mixed in with blacks and golds. This just shows that Gareth is not afraid of playing with a bit of colour, the collection was full of sci-fi inspired structured pieces, but with a interesting Egyptian, medieval twist.

Gareth Pugh's hard edge designs are normally partnered with straight cuts and hard edges. Pugh's Spring collection was a move toward something softer, though equally bewitching. Flowing shapes were cut from a nylon printed fabric, as well as aluminum to give an extraordinary two-way mirror effect. Hints of rubber neoprene added a snaky futurism to the clothes. Pugh pulled off a feat of cutting in tunics he called "modular,"this was a piece of clothing with the same front and back. And, keen as Gareth was to avoid the typical sci-fi tag that has been continually attached to his clothes, you can still see glimpses of silver and metal that clung to the body thirty-first-century armor. Gareth also had a sci-fi unique 11- minute video made for the catwalk by the much loved Ruth Hogben. Ruth has designed many videos for Pugh all being unique and one of a kind. This video showed a growing cube which featured the same print as the bags from the catwalk. Hogben definitely finshed off the catwalk, with everyone asking the same question 'why a cube'?
