All That Glitters IS Gold

Whilst researching on the fantastic web site that is WGSN I have had a sneaky peek at the trend predictions for next year. There is a lot of golds and blacks, and these are mostly represented on Egyptian styled shoots. I am a huge fan of gold, I feel that it looks smart and has a statement edge to it that other colours like grey do not have. Gold and black are colours that can be placed with nearly everything, try and avoid brighter colours like reds, blues, yellows and greens and go for more greys and lighter browns. I would place gold and black statement pieces with a black maxi skirt, and a lighter top. All I can say is, All that glitters is indeed Gold.
